在Linux Shell环境中维护Oracle数据库经常使用sqlplus和rman命令，在sqlplus和rman命令环境中，不能记录历史执行的SQL命令，使用起来不太方便，借助rlwrap库可以实现sqlplus，rman记录历史执行的命令，使用上下方向键可以找出以前执行的命令，可以方便管理Oracle数据库。

安装配置步骤如下：

1、配置Linux Yum环境

可以直接使用Ali的yum源，根据你的Linux版本下载相应的Yum源配置

CentOS 5

wget -O /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo http://mirrors.aliyun.com/repo/Centos-5.repo

CentOS 6

wget -O /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo http://mirrors.aliyun.com/repo/Centos-6.repo

2、解压rlwrap-0.37.zip

3、使用yum安装readline库

yum install readline*

4、编译rlwrap-0.37
